This page guides you through building a Death Unto Darkness character to play at Campaign Events.
How to Build a Character
- Think about your character's background. Read Your Character's Background for the sort of questions the game team want you to answer. That page also has guidance on appropriate character concepts. You may want to Contact the writing team to discuss whether your concept fits the current campaign before developing a detailed background.
- Think about your character's place in the Inquisition. The Servants of the Inquisition page has some guidance to help you think about your character's role.
- Pick your character's traits. Every character has some Starting Stats and Abilities. On top of these, Picking your Traits guides you through the process of picking Ten traits to define what your character can do.
- Ask for links. You will likely have more fun if you come into play knowing at least one or two other PCs. You can use the Facebook group or Discord (ask the Writing Team for a link) to discuss character links and reach out to other players.
- Ask for guidance. At any point you can ask the Writing Team for guidance if you feel stuck, or reach out on Facebook or Discord to discuss your concept with other players.
