Timelines and History

Plot Updates

The Game Team periodically release updates in the form of IC documents or narratives which help advance the campaign and provide IC information to player characters. These are held under Plot Updates.

A Note on Dates

Death Unto Darkness is set 38,575 years in the future, and time passes IC at roughly the same rate as it does OC (with exceptions for Warp travel and narrative convenience).

  • In general, if trying to calculate Today's IC date you can assume that the month and day are the same as they are OC.
  • The current year is 597.M41 in 2021, 598.M41 in 2023, 599.M41 in 2024 and so on.
  • There is a spreadsheet which helps calculate the current correct IC date here.
