How well the Salients have weathered the Silence is variable, but one clear message is broadcast across the fleet: with all of the fragmented pieces of the Navy that limped home to her, ''Polarnus Stands''. Nobody has had sight of Ajax since before the silence, but the bounty on him is backed by House Durovera money so there’s value in hunting down a corpse if it comes to that and you can gene-screen it to prove it’s him. Honestly, at this stage it looks like the Arbites and the Governor would pay good money just to know how afraid they need to be of their boogeyman.
